Something cool I discovered this spring. It is a website where you can catalog your own library or keep track of what you have read. I am having fun adding the books I have read over the last couple of years (since about 2002 when I started keeping track consistently of what I had read). hey! this sounds like a good thing for my mom to do!! every once in awhile she'll be reading a book and all of a sudden i'll hear "@&$^, I've read this book already!" it's even funnier when she does it more than once w/ the same book.... my brother and i tease her that when she's in the "old folks home" we won't have to spend much money buying her books, we'll just keep giving her the same one... she'll never know!! lol!
i think i'm going to try and keep track of my books. it's a great idea!!!

well, i tried it!!
and i'm disappointed that i had to stop at 200 unless i wanted to pay money!! :-(
i guess i can go back and write comments about the books i have on there. problem is, i just put 200 books that i remember reading, but i'm very sure that i'll only remember what a few of them were about and how i liked them... oops!! i have read a lot of series and i think that's how i filled up my 200 books so fast. but i want more!!! maybe i'll ask my mom if i can upgrade it.

I am not sure about the commenting on other people books. I do know you can can comment on my profile so my library in general.
Also, if you do upgrade make sure you look at the lifetime membership vs. the yearly. If I remember right the lifetime membership is cheaper in the long run.
One more thing...
Did you notice we have 19 books in common? I bet there will be more before we are done :)
I still probably have over 100 books to enter for the last two years, but I am putting comments and tags with them as I go. The tags are a great thing for searching and organizing purposes.
I just got the Library Thing. It is sooo cool. I was just looking around and they have shirts. I think we should all get some. They had thongs too :P, how weird is that!! Hey, we could all match!!!!! Well, back to Library Thing.ttyl!
