Eragon @ the Library Lock-In
The next book on your to do list should be Eragon by Christopher Paolini. Eragon was made into a movie in 2006. If you haven't seen the movie Read It 1st--In Aagaesia, a fifteen-year-old boy of unknown lineage called Eragon finds a mysterious stone that weaves his life into an intricate tapestry of destiny, magic, and power, peopled with dragons, elves, and monsters. With a description like that how can you not try it.

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
just thought that i'd say.
Why do you love this book? What about it makes you read it over and over?
i think that it might be that the author is a teenager, and he knows how teens think so he knows what they want to read. i have to say that the movie sucks though.
So comparing the movie to the book what do you think? Bel--I know you remember everything--tell us what is different.
The movie skipped a whole bunch of things like um Katrina and Eragon's healing that elf. She was supposed to be stand-offish in the book but she seemed like she was leading him on to something more in the movie.
i got this book a long time ago, but when i did, i was soo into it, i read it under 4 days!!! i can relate to the author, because i'm a writer myself, and it really excited me knowing one of my books can be published someday! and i agree with stephi (about the movie) and was totally disapointed. they should make a new one in the near future, like they did with the chronicles of narnia. the old ones... were... oooh, say not as good... the new one, i think, was much better... but maybe cause it was animated... ooh whatever!
